Recently, Song Qiang, Secretary-General of the Commercial Vehicle Maintenance Branch of China Automotive Maintenance Industry Association, and Huang Yanan from the Membership Department visited TZST Electech Co., Ltd. to discuss innovative solutions of sodium-ion battery for commercial vehicles and motorcycles. Zhou Shangyong, Chairman of TZST, Yang Huan, Deputy General Manager, Wang Yan, Assistant to the Chairman, Liu Shuning, Foreign Trade Director, and other management warmly received the delegation. The two sides held in-depth discussions on power source tech innovation for commercial vehicles and motorcycles, plus after-sales service upgrading.
As a “Specialized, Sophisticated, Unique and New” enterprise in Tianjin and northern China’s first sodium-ion battery exporter, TZST has built a diversified product matrix. It includes heavy-duty truck lithium start-stop batteries, commercial vehicle sodium-ion start batteries, and sodium-ion motorcycle start batteries. Its core team has over 20 years of battery industry experience and independently developed the TSS Thermal Safety Protection System and ACS Adaptive Control Technology.
Deputy General Manager Yang Huan introduced TZST’s business layout and technical roadmap systematically. He explained the dual-track strategy of lithium and sodium-ion batteries from an industrial perspective, focusing on product implementation in commercial vehicle and motorcycle scenarios. Later, Chairman Zhou Shangyong shared in-depth sodium-ion battery tech breakthroughs: Targeting lead-acid battery pain points like low-temperature start-up difficulty and short lifespan, TZST’s sodium-ion start batteries for commercial vehicles and motorcycles achieve instant start-up at -40℃ extreme cold, with cycle life far exceeding traditional products.
Secretary-General Song Qiang showed great interest and noted that the commercial vehicle after-sales market is shifting from “repair and replacement” to “technical upgrading”. TZST provides mature sodium-ion battery solutions in two segmented fields simultaneously, showing outstanding technical foresight and industrialization capabilities. He said: “The Association builds a collaborative link of ‘vehicle-parts-maintenance-service’. Suppliers like TZST with core R&D capabilities and precise market access are exactly the technical partners maintenance terminals need most.”
Secretary-General Song Qiang and his team visited TZST’s laboratory. It realizes full-process digital control from coating to assembly and meets the 10,000-class cleanliness standard. The laboratory covers 118 tests to ensure military-grade battery reliability. Chairman Zhou Shangyong said TZST engraves “safety” and “stability” into every cell.
This interview consolidated TZST’s deep participation in the Association’s after-sales service network. In the future, the two sides will hold regular communication on technical standard co-construction and channel empowerment. They will jointly promote commercial vehicle and motorcycle power solutions to enter a higher-level “sodium-ion battery era”.
