On June 27, 2026, the 9th Member Congress and First Meeting of the 9th Council of China Battery Industry Association was grandly held in Beijing. As a council member focusing on R&D and production of sodium-ion batteries, motorcycle starter batteries and sodium-ion motorcycle starter batteries, sodium ion battery manufacturer TZST was honored to be invited. We gathered with industry leaders, authoritative experts and government officials across the country to witness this grand event and discuss the industry’s future. This is a historic conference that connects the past and the future. The conference successfully completed the election of a new council and its leaders, marking a new development chapter for the China Battery Industry Association.
During the conference, Liu Baosheng, Chairman of the 8th Council, delivered a work report titled “Staying True to Our Original Aspiration in Five Years of Perseverance, Starting a New Journey for a Green Future”. The report systematically reviewed the key work and performance of the 8th Council. Over the past five years, the association has always taken serving the industry and members as its core mission, stayed true to its original aspiration, innovated while adhering to principles, and worked diligently. It has achieved fruitful results in strengthening Party building leadership, deepening internal governance, playing a bridging role, coordinating industrial planning, building service platforms, promoting green and low-carbon development, improving standard systems, strengthening innovation-driven growth, deepening international exchanges, optimizing member services, and fulfilling social responsibilities. The association has worked hand in hand with the entire industry to elevate both the association’s development and the industry’s progress to a new level.
The conference elected leaders of the new council, with Ma Dejun elected as Chairman of the 9th Council. The establishment of the new council marks that the China Battery Industry Association will continue to shoulder the glorious mission of leading the industry’s high-quality development at a new historical starting point. Currently, the global energy pattern is undergoing profound changes, and China’s battery industry is in a critical transition period from large-scale to strong-scale development. The conference made an in-depth analysis of the international economic and trade situation and industrial evolution trends, clearly pointing out that only by adhering to innovation-driven development, strengthening green ecology, and deepening international cooperation can we seize the initiative and gain an edge in fierce global competition.
As a member unit, TZST participated in all agendas of the 9th Member Congress of China Battery Industry Association. During the conference, together with all council members, we conducted in-depth discussions on major issues such as improving the association’s governance system, building industry self-discipline mechanisms, and optimizing the industrial ecosystem. We jointly reviewed and passed important bills related to the association’s long-term development and the industry’s healthy operation. This process not only reflects TZST’s exercise of council rights and fulfillment of member obligations, but also is a vivid practice of our deep integration into the overall industry development and contribution of wisdom to industrial governance.
Standing at the new historical starting point where the 15th Five-Year Plan is about to launch, China’s battery industry faces an unprecedented strategic opportunity. The “Battery Data Cross-Border Security Escort Action” initiative launched during the conference and the preparation of the Young Experts Committee both demonstrate the industry’s firm determination to face the future and embrace changes. TZST is greatly encouraged and deeply aware of its responsibilities. Taking this council as a new starting point, we will closely follow national strategic guidance and the association’s work deployment, continue to increase investment in scientific and technological innovation, accelerate the cultivation of new productive forces, unswervingly follow the path of green, low-carbon and high-quality development, and deepen technological upgrading and market expansion of core products such as sodium-ion batteries and motorcycle starter batteries.
With strong winds at our backs for a long journey and heavy responsibilities on our shoulders, we set off again.
